I want to thank all of the fantastic musicians who played on this recording. I'm honored and humbled to call you my friends. To Missy Raines who lent her musical genius to each song. To Ben Surratt who worked his sonic magic in the studio, mixing this eclectic bunch of musicians and songs into a cohesive collection. To Mike and Melissa Atkinson for allowing us to use the beautiful Crazy A Ranch as our location. To everyone who helped get this project into the realm of reality by participating in the crowdfunding. Special thanks to my wife Joanne Gardner Lowell for being my biggest cheerleader, advisor and supporter in regard to this recording and my music in general. I am blessed.

The constant thread throughout this recording is Missy Raines and me - we're the only two who play on every song. Her rock solid timing and tasteful playing brought a sparkle into all of these songs that is classic Missy. She brought them all to life & it's a better recording because of her.

John Lowell Livingston, montana

John Lowell won Song of the Year from the Intl. Western Music Association for his song Angus MacKenzie. He's also the 2021 Grand Prize winner of the Hazel Dickens songwriting contest, and will appear at the Crossroads Festival in the UK as well as touring and teaching internationally. John Lowell lives in Montana with his wife Joanne.
